The Eastern Conference Finals are tied at 2-2, after the Miami Heat's brutal loss Monday night. They fell to the Boston Celtics 102-82 in Game 4, playing without Tyler Herro.

The Sixth Man of the Year was sidelined due to a groin injury he suffered in the Heat's Game 3 win on Saturday. As of Tuesday afternoon, Herro is considered a game-time decision for Game 5.

ESPN's Ramona Shelburne reports that this kind of injury would normally keep a player out for 2-4 weeks in the regular season.

Herro is determined to make it back for either Game 5 or Game 6 of the series, despite the typical regular-season timeline of his injury.

“He is pushing really hard to play either in the next game or the game after that because he just wants to be out there.”

If it were up to Herro, he'd be in the rotation for Wednesday night. However, Shelburne reports that the decision is “out of his hands” and in the hands of his trainers.

Herro would be a huge boost to the Heat's offensive productivity in Game 5. As seen in Game 4, Miami desperately needs a push to close out the series. Herro is just the man for the job. This season, he's averaged 20.7 points, four assists, and five rebounds off the bench.

The Eastern Conference Finals tie-breaking Game 5 is Wednesday night in Miami.
