Firefly will finally be playable with the Honkai Star Rail version 2.3 update! Check out the Firefly Kit, Materials, Traces, and more here to find out if she is worth your precious Stellar Jades.

Honkai Star Rail – Firefly

“Fireflies are such magical creatures, aren't they? They may throw themselves at a flame or suddenly grow old, but every night before that, they will shine brighter than the stars.”

A member of the Stellaron Hunters and a young girl clad in a mechanical armor “SAM.”

Born as a weapon, she's afflicted with the agony of Entropy Loss Syndrome due to genetic modification.

She joined the Stellaron Hunters in search of the meaning of life, relentlessly pursuing ways to defy fate.

Mentions of “Sam” have been in the game since its release, but we only got to see him in action in Penacony. Firefly was initially thought of as a completely separate character when she was introduced in Version 1.6 along with Penacony.

Firefly is a 5-star Fire character on the Path of Destruction. She becomes playable on Honkai Star Rail version 2.3, scheduled for June 19, 2024. This makes her the first character in this archetype. She follows Hook as a Fire Destruction character, but Hook is a 4-star character.

Firefly is a member of the Stellaron Hunters, alongside Kafka, Blade, and Silver Wolf, among others. She carries out the Destiny's Slave's script as SAM, an armored mech that doubles as the life pod sustaining her.

She hails from Glamoth, a fallen interplanetary nation. It's mentioned in the Planar Ornament Set “Firmament Frontline: Glamoth” which shows a mech (probably SAM, or a similar model) hung up with a lot of wires.
