The Charlotte Hornets lost Malik Monk but did end up bringing aboard Kelly Oubre Jr. on a two-year deal after his latest run with the Golden State Warriors. Oubre should provide some nice flexibility for head coach James Borrego.

Hornets star LaMelo Ball is the main guy in town, and he had an epic reaction to the Hornets signing of Oubre.

LaMelo Ball is the main man in Charlotte, and they also shipped away Devonte' Graham to the New Orleans Pelicans. The Hornets also reportedly have interest in a Lauri Markkanen sign-and-trade, although who knows if that still is a possibility after the Oubre signing.

Oubre averaged 15.4 points and shot 43.9 percent from the field for the Warriors last season, and after the Dubs brought in Otto Porter Jr., it appeared that Oubre was on his way out.

The Hornets nucleus includes Oubre, Ball, Gordon Hayward, and Terry Rozier, as well as PJ Washington and a few others. Michael Jordan is running the show for the franchise and doesn't want to waste any years of LaMelo Ball's stardom, so bringing in Oubre makes sense for both sides.

And, of course, it is always good when your star player approves the move as LaMelo Ball did.
