The Charlotte Hornets have struggled entering tonight's game versus the high-powered Cleveland Cavaliers. If they were going to get back on the right track, the Hornets would need All-Star point guard Kemba Walker to set the tone at some point in the game.

Walker gave them just that near the end of the first half with a vicious crossover on superstar LeBron James off the pick which then led to an and-1 on the Cavs superstar.

It is not often that anyone manages to get the better of the three-time champion and four-time MVP, let alone a point guard. Not only was Kemba Walker's move downright filthy but it also helped give the Hornets a six-point lead before halftime. In all fairness, the Hornets star point guard has been dazzling the league with his deadly crossover for years now.

It was an offseason of high hopes for the Hornets after adding some much-needed depth to their roster. Their depth is what has allowed them to rely on a versatile offensive attack. Unfortunately, the Hornets ultimately faltered to the Cavs 115-107.

After a solid 5-3 start to the 2017-18 NBA season, the Hornets now find themselves deeply mired in a five-game losing streak as they prepare to hit the road for the next week.
