Isaiah Thomas is having his best season as a pro and many have given him high praise for leading the Boston Celtics to their run of success this year. He has continued his strong play in the postseason, as he has been inspired by words of encouragement from one of the league's greats.

After recently working with Kobe Bryant and learning more about the Mamba Mentality, the 5-foot-9 guard has reportedly gotten advice from a Celtics legend, Paul Pierce, who reminded him that winning is not easy. Thomas admitted that his words have motivated him to play even better by taking it to heart.

If there's anyone who knows a thing or two about how wins not coming easy, it's the L.A. Clippers small forward. During his playing days in Beantown, he was part of the Celtics team that struggled to make the playoffs, until the time they became champions in 2008. Pierce was able to overcome a lot of adversity throughout his career, which helped him become the player that he was.

Despite not finishing his career in Boston, The Truth has always made it known that he still loves the city and its team. With him reaching out to the Celtics' franchise player, he hopes he can fire him up in their next games and bring more success to the Celtics.
