The worlds of sports, music and gaming collided on Thursday with the release of the latest trailer for Call of Duty: Warzone, which also teases a different version of the Verdansk map.

With the game set to take players to a 1980s version of the Verdansk map to match the plot of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, Call of Duty released a live-action trailer for the game. The trailer features athletes like Los Angeles Dodgers right fielder Mookie Betts, Los Angeles Lakers point guard Dennis Schroder, Aston Villa winger Jack Grealish, and gamers Nadeshot and Rocky No Hands.

Other celebrities in the trailer include hip-hop artists Young Thug, Gunna, Swae Lee, Saweetie, Jack Harlow, and AJ Tracey, as well as Druski and Michelle Viscusi.

The trailer shows the celebrities being immersed into the map of Verdansk while also playing the game. Several familiar places in Verdansk can be seen in the trailer, including the trailer, which was still being constructed during the 1980s.

The Verdansk map was officially destroyed on Wednesday to mark the end of The Destruction of Verdansk Part 1, leaving fans to wonder when the new version of the beloved map will be released. With the release of the trailer showing a different version of the map, The Destruction of Verdansk Part 2 arrives on Thursday, which is also the first day of Season 3. However, at the time of the trailer’s release, the new version of the map isn’t playable yet.

With Call of Duty: Warzone now following the timeline of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, it is not only Verdansk that is expected to have a throwback look to the 1980s, but also the clothes, weapons, and look of the game itself.
