The Jacksonville Jaguars are coming off their most successful campaign in nearly two decades after reaching the playoffs and pushing toward an AFC Championship Game appearance.

However, the team fell just short of reaching the Super Bowl for the first time in franchise history. According to Judy Battista of NFL.com, Pro Bowl defensive end Calais Campbell has voiced that the team has to be more disciplined if they hope to take the next step forward to being a legitimate title contender.

This is just another step for the Jaguars to take to sharpen up to build off their promising 2017 campaign. The team possesses a highly talented roster with the bulk for their game-changing talent on the defensive side of the ball. This increased level of discipline is aimed at their defense that has shown that they can carry the team to wins when the offense is having difficulty

That said, this will be tested to a much higher degree this upcoming season with each of the other teams in the division looking to have improved. The Indianapolis Colts are expecting the return of star quarterback after missing all of the 2017 campaign while the Houston Texans will have emerging star quarterback Deshaun Watson back under center. On top of that, the Tennessee Titans are poised to build off their playoff appearance last season.

All of this puts more pressure on the Jaguars to prove that last year's success wasn't a fluke while these comments show that the team is more than motivated.
