The Jacksonville Jaguars will now be without wide receiver DJ Chark on Thursday against the Miami Dolphins, according to the team. Chark was originally listed as questionable, giving him a chance to possibly play during Week 3.

The Jaguars will have to figure out a way to move the ball downfield at the same rate without Chark, their top receiver so far into the season. Chark caught all four of his intended passes for 84 yards during Week 2 against the Tennessee Titans.

Last season, Chark was selected to his first Pro-Bowl Game, finishing the season completing 61.9 percent of his catches for a total of 1,008 yards along with eight touchdowns. The production was a huge jump from his rookie season, making him a decent part of the offense for the Jaguars coming into the 2020-21 season.

Fellow receiver Keelan Cole hasn't been far behind Chark in the catch-passing game, only missing one of his catches in the first two games of the season and scoring a touchdown in both contests. Sensational second-year quarterback Gardner Minshew II will look to get Cole more involved going into tonight's contest.

Minshew has had a successful season as well, completing 75.4 percent of his passes throwing for six touchdowns, though it hasn't translated well in terms of their previous outing against the Titans.

The Jaguars are favored to win the contest against the Dolphins on Thursday however, a squad that currently touts a winless record. Expect the Dolphins to try and take advantage of a shorthanded Jaguars as well.
