Wednesday afternoon, news broke that a former Jaguars kicker accused head coach Urban Meyer of kicking him. Despite the insane claim, Jacksonville is sticking up for Meyer. ESPN reporter Michele Steele tweeted the news.

According to former Jaguars kicker Josh Lambo, Meyer kicked him while he was stretching before their preseason matchup against the Cowboys. Here's how Lambo said their conversation went in the situation:

“Hey dipshit, make your f–king kicks,” Meyer said.

“Don’t you ever f–king me again,” Lambo replied.

Meyer then claimed he had every right to kick him, saying, “I’m the head ball coach, I’ll kick you whenever the f–k I want.”

Of course, this is all from Lambo's perspective. Steele mentioned in her tweet that the Jaguars are not only siding with Meyer, but they are well aware of the situation. The team attorneys were aware of the situation, which was reported. This also means that the front office, General Manager John Schneider and President Peter McLoughlin, most likely knew about the incident as well.

Regardless of how it really went down, the Jaguars haven't seemed to let the situation affect their relationship with Meyer. There are many other issues that have landed Meyer a spot in the Jacksonville dog house, including the Jaguars' brutal 2-11 record.
