Nick Foles is in new surroundings as quarterback of the Jacksonville Jaguars, but among his receivers is a familiar face: Chris Conley.

During the one season that Foles spent with the Kansas City Chiefs in 2016, Conley was a member of the team, and while Foles didn't actually start under center, the two developed some camaraderie in practice.

It looks like that has continued in Jacksonville, as Foles and Conley are developing some good chemistry.

“(Conley's) never been targeted 70 times in a season (69 in 2016 is a career high) but has quickly developed a rapport with Foles,” wrote Phillip Heilman of The Athletic. “On deep balls and intermediate routes, the two seem to analyze the defense similarly.”

Conley is a member of an interesting receiving corps that includes Dede Westbrook, Marqise Lee, and DJ Chark, and while most of the Jaguars' receivers are unproven, there is some potential there.

Conley, who played his collegiate football at the University of Georgia, was originally selected by the Chiefs in the third round (76th pick overall) of the 2015 NFL Draft.

He played in all 16 games during his rookie campaign, but had a very limited role, logging just 17 catches for 199 yards and a touchdown. The following year, Conley's role grew, as he caught 44 passes for 530 yards, both of which remain career highs to this date.

The 26-year-old was then limited to just five games in 2017 due to injuries, finishing with 11 catches for 175 yards, and this past year, he snared 32 balls for 334 yards and five scores.

Now, he will get a chance to have a fairly large role in the Jaguars' offense.
