Former New York Giants wide receiver Plaxico Burress thinks that Eli Manning could end up with the Jacksonville Jaguars and back with his former coach Tom Coughlin.

Manning and Coughlin had quite the bond when the two were together and it could make sense to reunite them again.

“I don’t believe that No. 10 is done, I could see him down in Jacksonville reuniting with the great Tom Coughlin,” Burress said to TMZ.

Manning does have a no-trade clause and has said he wants to stay in New York, but Burress thinks the fire to be a starter with the Jaguars could change his mind.

“I know that the fire still burns for him to go out and compete and to play this game,” Burress said. “I think that his time over in New York may be over, but as far as going somewhere else and playing football, I believe that he can still do that.”

Manning might have a passion for the game and to start, but the big question is would he even be a starter in Jacksonville?

Nick Foles should be back before the end of the season to take back over the starting job for the Jaguars, but right now it's the Gardner Minshew show and the NFL has taken notice.

Against the Tennessee Titans on Thursday night, he threw for 204 yards and two touchdowns and he has the entire team bought in.

It wouldn't be shocking to see Coughlin try and trade for Manning, but right now Minshew gives the Jaguars the best chance to win.
