YouTube star turned boxer Jake Paul just pulled off a win against another former MMA champion. Tyron Woodley was handed a loss in his first ever professional boxing match via a split decision in favor of Paul.

While Jake Paul fought relatively well against Tyron Woodley, a handful of observers on Twitter called out the result for a variety of reasons.

One of the biggest gripes that had was how one of Tyron Woodley's haymakers wasn't ruled a knockdown. The strong right hand had Paul wobbly on the ropes, which clearly saved him from tasting canvass.

Fans pointed out how Jake Paul's outright fall into the ropes should have been ruled as such, given that a fighter who would be unable to stand without the assistance of the ropes should count as a knockdown.

Others went even further, claiming that maybe Woodley was in on it with Jake Paul. That same stunned sequence on Paul should have been his signal to attack even harder, which some fans found perplexing. You could chalk that up to Woodley's inexperience as a boxer, but he probably also has that same killer instinct when he's in the octagon.

Some fans even contested the result that the judges gave them in the end. Obviously neither I nor these fans watching from home are professional boxers and/or judges, so take this all with a grain of salt.

Both Jake Paul and a handful of voices, however, truly believed that the bout was one-sided in his favor. Paul even went so far as to call it B.S. that one judge scored it for Woodley, with many actually agreeing with him.

Nevertheless, Jake Paul maintains his perfect professional record in the boxing ring. Safe to say this isn't going to be the last time we see him headline a Pay-Per-View event.
