As he plays in his first game with the Nets, fans noticed the former MVP’s weight has seemingly changed since his time with the Houston Rockets.

James Harden, who had just forced the Rockets into trading him to his preferred destination, appeared heavily overweight. As expected, the internet quickly fat-shamed him into another dimension. Now, Harden appears to have slimmed down in a rather quick turnaround, making Twitter utterly confused.

While James Harden’s trainer may possibly be the GOAT, the bigger concern of the day will be his fit alongside Kevin Durant. Each prefers iso-ball, making it interesting to see how Steve Nash conjures his wealth of basketball knowledge to ensure his team moves the ball around.
The Nets’ bench – the team’s biggest strength last season – also took a massive hit in the blockbuster trade for Harden.
Even after tonight’s game, the Nets will then have to fit Irving into that puzzle. Irving is currently unavailable following a violation of league health and safety protocols.
With a trio of James Harden, Kevin Durant, and Kyrie Irving, the Nets are more than capable of winning the championship, at least on paper. If the trio can mesh, and that is a big if, Brooklyn will emerge as the top challenger to the Los Angeles Lakers by the season’s end.
