Utah Jazz will have to face the Memphis Grizzlies in Friday night's game without Donovan Mitchell and Alec Burks.

Mitchell has been nursing an injured hamstring, but it hasn't forced to him to miss any time this season. His playing ability will surely be affected unless the team rests Mitchell and allow him to reach full health. The unfortunate aspect of Mitchell's injury is sometimes a hamstring injury can linger, so it would be wise for the Utah to not rush their star player back too quick.

Burks is currently recovering from a left hand sprain. He has spent his entire seven year career with the Utah Jazz, but staying healthy has always ben an issue for the talented guard. Burks was great for the Jazz from 2013-16, but his stats have drastically faltered the past few seasons.

Donovan Mitchell has averaged 23.3 points, 4.4 assists,  2.4 rebounds, and 1.5 steals  in seven games for the Jazz this season. Alec Burks has averaged 6.0 points, 1.4 rebounds and 1.0 assists in five games for the Jazz this season.

Utah is not off to an ideal start this season with a 4-3 record. Now with Donovan Mitchell out, Dante Exum will most likely see a bump in action as well Jae Crowder and Rudy Gobert will undoubtedly be depended upon more now. If the Jazz want to repeat their success from last season, Mitchell will need to be back to full health. While Alec Burks may not be as effective as he was in past seasons, his presence on the court is significant for Utah.
