Donovan Mitchell is back doing Donovan Mitchell things. The Utah Jazz swingman was deep in his bag on Thursday night in the opening quarter of Game 2 against the Los Angeles Clippers after leaving Patrick Beverley confused as hell after a crazy crossover.

We all know how sticky Beverley can get when defending opponents but no amount of spiderweb could keep him on Mitchell as the young Jazz star crossed him out of the play before knocking down another smooth mid-range bucket.

Obviously, Mitchell had to shake his head and let Beverley know that there was no way he could guard him after the play.

Spida has been locked in for the Jazz all playoffs long. Since missing the very first game of the post-season against the Memphis Grizzlies, the 24-year-old has been a man on a mission over the past few weeks to make sure the Jazz continue to flex their muscles as the top-rated team in the league.

After a 4-1 series win against the Grizzlies where he averaged 28.5 points per game while shooting 45% from the field, Mitchell went on to torch the Clippers in Game 1 of their second-round match-up. The two-time All-Star dropped 45 points in a slim three-point win over the Clippers and it seems that he's on track for another monster series as he's poised to spearhead the attach for the Jazz in what's proving to be one tough series against LA.
