Many NBA players were tuned in to the game between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the New England Patriots on Sunday as Tom Brady faced his former team for the first time. One of the guys who watched was Utah Jazz star Donovan Mitchell and he was also amused with all the comments on the game pouring over social media.

Both the Buccaneers and the Patriots struggled in the early goings, with Brady not delivering his usual throws. It was a low-scoring affair at the end of the first half, with the Patriots leading by only one point, 7-6.

Things picked up a bit in the second half, but Brady was still struggling. Josiah Johnson, the so-called Troll King of Twitter, dropped a joke on the 44-year-old quarterback using a Squid Game reference, and Mitchell was all for it.

In case you're still busy watching Money Heist, Squid Game is the newest hit series on Netflix. The premise of the popular show from South Korea centers on people competing for a chance to win millions of money. Losing, however, could lead to death. Sounds gory, but Mitchell seems to be watching it.

Brady might be old compared to the NFL's other star QBs, but there's no denying he's still the barometer. He might not be as agile as before, he still has the wits to steer the Buccaneers, even posting another milestone in their win over the Patriots.

To make another Squid Game reference, Tom Brady has the green light to do whatever he wants for the Buccaneers.
