Utah Jazz guard Donovan Mitchell proved on Saturday that he is the best dunker of the night as he won the Slam Dunk Contest. The rookie pulled off some impressive slams and turned a lot of heads with his performance. One of them was when he asked for the help of Kevin Hart and his younger sister, Jordan, whom he jumped over for the tomahawk slam.

While the most popular choice for contestants is to ask for a hand from their fellow players or celebrities, Mitchell chose her to be under the spotlight with him and gave a touching explanation to it, via Kyle Goon of the Salt Lake Tribune.

The off-the-side-of-the-board slam Mitchell completed gave him a perfect score of 50 for showing his mad hops and looking graceful in mid-air. He went on to advance to the championship round and faced off against Cleveland Cavaliers forward Larry Nance Jr., and won with a reverse 360-degree windmill dunk inspired by Vince Carter from 18 years ago.

Mitchell's statement on why he wanted his sister to be on the court with him only goes to show how much much he loves and appreciates her. She has truly sacrificed a lot to help him reach the success he's now enjoying, and proof of that are the stories he shared during his earlier days as a basketball player.

Mitchell then went on to receive the trophy with Jordan beside him and even gave her a kiss on the head to let everyone know how much he appreciates her being with him on a special moment in his pro career.
