The Utah Jazz were edged out 116-108 during Game 1 of their first-round series with the Oklahoma City Thunder, but an explicit exchange last night between Thunder star forward Paul George and Jazz forward Joe Ingles.

According to a tweet from Jazz beat writer Andy Larsen of KSL.com, Ingles opened up about his incident with George and just brushed it off as something that wasn't a big deal.

“I don't know him at all. It's great. I love it. Do it again. It's all good. No history with him. I don't know him. We've never spoken in my life,” Ingles said of George.

This is not the first incident that Ingles has had this season with George and other members of the Thunder.

During the first meeting of the season between Utah and Oklahoma City, Ingles drained a three-pointer in the face of Thunder rookie guard Terrance Ferguson and talked some major smack to him afterward. Later in that same game, Ingles hit OKC center Steven Adams in the groin and was subsequently fined $15,000 it.

Lastly, Ingles and George both got into it within the opening seconds of a game back in December when the Thunder forward shoved Ingles out of bounds and proceeded to stare him down.

Regardless, the Jazz did not have very many answers when it came to stopping George on Sunday night during Game 1. In a masterful performance, George went off for a game-high 36 points on 13-of-20 shooting from the field, seven rebounds, and one steal in 38 minutes of action.

The Jazz will look to tie this series up with the Thunder at 1-1 on Wednesday night and head back to Salt Lake City with a ton of momentum.
