Utah Jazz head coach Quin Synder thinks sharpshooter Kyle Korver has “made everybody a little better.”
The Jazz acquired Korver from the Cleveland Cavaliers in November. Synder points to Korver's work ethic and the way he approaches the game as the two main things the players on the Jazz have been learning from the veteran shooting guard.
“You see it all the time, it's like he’s 21 years old trying to improve his game,” Snyder said, via Ryan Miller of KSL. “Any incremental gain he can have. To have a guy like that that doesn't have to say anything. People see him working.
“I think he’s made everybody a little better. That’s hard to do across a spectrum — from the coaching staff to the players. He truly is a student of the game.”
If players on the Jazz see Kyle Korver working on his jump shot, they have to try and improve their game as well since Korver is one of the best shooters in NBA history. That obsession with always trying to get better is the message that Korver sends to his teammates without even saying a word.
In 39 games with the Jazz, Korver is averaging 9.4 points while shooting 43.2 percent from the field and 40.1 percent from the 3-point line.
