Unlike in previous years, the current batch of rookies has been more active on social media especially in pulling off some jokes, even trolling on their teammates. Many have noticed that, including Utah Jazz center Rudy Gobert, who said that he sees them being too comfortable with their antics on Twitter and Instagram.

The French international does not see it as a big problem, though, but understands that it is the job of veterans like him to fix it, and possibly lessen the fun they're having on the different social media platforms. Not to be a party pooper, but he probably wants them to be treated as first-year players, just like what he went through in his first season in the NBA, via Eric Woodyard of the Deseret News.

Although Gobert did not drop names, the Los Angeles Lakers' Lonzo Ball and Kyle Kuzma are two of the rookies that recently posted videos where they trolled a more tenured teammate of theirs. Even the Jazz's own Donovan Mitchell has had some tweets where he pulled off some jokes with a veteran teammate.

With the Stifle Tower making it known that he will take part in trying to fix the situation, it can be expected that the jokes from the rookies will be lessened soon. It could also be his way of making sure they pay their dues as rookies, just like how Gobet and co. were treated in their first seasons, waiting for their turn to also welcome future rookies by making them follow their leads.
