The New York Jets put up a fight against the Miami Dolphins. However, in New York's tough loss, young safety Elijah Riley fell to a scary injury. He was carted off the field and removed from the game altogether. Robert Saleh finally provides an update on Riley.

According to Connor Hughes, Elijah Riley is traveling back with the Jets and seems to be doing great. Saleh claims Riley “checked all boxes” and is good to go. This is fantastic news, as it's always a scary moment when watching someone get carted off of the field.

The Jets young player was put on the stretcher as he left, so it's hard to imagine he's 100 percent fine. Either way, New York seems to believe he's in good enough shape to travel with his teammates.

The New York Jets are eliminated from the postseason, but they're not giving up. They gave a red-hot Dolphins team a run for their money, likely generating some confidence in this young New York squad. Zach Wilson looked much more comfortable than usual and his receivers played consistently as well.

With the Jets out of the playoffs, it appears the team is playing more loosely. Robert Saleh used some creative play calls as New York brought out the trick plays. Look for this team to continue getting creative as they try to find a way to upset their opponents in the coming weeks.
