According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, New York Jets quarterback Zach Wilson will have an MRI on his knee but Wilson says that there is speculation that he suffered a PCL injury.

If Wilson did suffer an injury to his PCL he will likely miss a good amount of time. The test results will be coming out sometime soon and we will know how long he will be out.

Wilson took a hard hit from linebacker Matt Jordan during Sunday's contest against the New England Patriots.

The Jets suffered a blowout loss to the Patriots 54-13.  The 21-year old quarterback was the second pick in this year's draft. Has played in seven games for the Jets completing 57.3% of his throws with a 62.9 quarterback rating. He has thrown for 1,117 yards with four touchdowns and nine interceptions.

The Jets are hoping for the best here and they will want Wilson to get back as soon as possible to get as much repetition as possible. The young QB is the Jets quarterback for the future and losing him for an extended period of time would be a major blow for the Jets as they try to develop him.

Mike White came in to replace Zach Wilson today. White finished with 202 yards, one touchdown, and two interceptions.

The 1-5 Jets will host the 5-2 Cincinnati Bengals in Week 8. Wilson most likely won't be playing in that game. New York might be in more trouble, as their season becomes much bleaker.

The Jets can't seem to catch a break. This would be a tough loss for an already struggling team. We'll see how it plays out and hopefully, the injury isn't too serious. The Jets weren't making the playoffs this year regardless. However, they need their young quarterback to play as much as possible right now.

We will have more updates as they become available.
