If someone were to ask you before the season started who would be the last undefeated NFC team heading into Week 5, very few would have said the San Francisco 49ers — not even Jimmy Garoppolo. With how well the Rams and Saints looked last year, many would have through they'd be sitting atop the NFC, not the team lead by a quarterback coming off of an ACL injury.

Although undefeated, the Niners have yet to beat a true opponent worthy of calling them the best team in the NFC, but this Monday they can prove all the doubters wrong as the surging Cleveland Browns come to Santa Clara.

Here are three things to expect from Jimmy Garoppolo and the 49ers this Monday night:

3. Jimmy G will have a field day throwing the ball.

While Garoppolo has done enough in each of their first three games to pull out victories, he hasn't wowed anyone just yet. So far he doesn't have a game with more than 300 passing yards and has an even touchdown to interception ratio.

That will change this Monday as the Browns are still dealing with a multitude of injuries to their secondary with both Greedy Williams and Denzel Ward failing to practice Thursday and Friday. If Garoppolo is able to get the ball out quickly to his receivers and let them make plays against second string defensive backs, he will most definitely see his first 300+ game of the season.

2. Garopollo will lead his team down the field for a late game drive.

Although having a banged up defense, I don't foresee Cleveland struggling to move the ball on offense, setting up for a bit of a shootout. It will be a dual between two young signal callers that might be the face of the league soon.

In a game that will be decided late, Garoppolo will use the weapons around him in order to lead his team to a late game drive. With George Kittle and Deebo Samuel at his disposal, Garoppolo will use this opportunity to show the league that he is a franchise quarterback capable of leading a young Niners team.

1. He won't turn the ball over.

Garoppolo has turn the ball over at least once in every game so far this season. With a bye week under his belt, preparing to face this Cleveland team for more than a week, he will be able to keep the ball out of the hands of Browns defenders.

Let's not forget that he learned under Tom Brady for his first three season, a man that is obsessed with repetition and being prepared for his opponents.

Turnovers will be the key to the game and if the 49ers plan on making a statement win over the Browns, it will be up to Garoppolo to take care of the ball.
