Will Smith shocked the world on Sunday night when he smacked Chris Rock at The Oscars. Many UFC fighters reacted to the altercation and so has legendary podcaster, Joe Rogan.

Joe Rogan had UFC and MMA legend, Josh Barnett, on his podcast and the two naturally started talking about Will Smith and Chris Rock. Rogan was not in favor of the act and went off on Smith.

“That whole scene doing that in that manner, in that place, is a great example of what’s wrong in the glorification of just being able to go up someone and smack them in the face. That whole thing was so weak,” UFC commentator Rogan said.

“That was not an insult. It was the most mild joke about her hairstyle in reference to a movie where a lady shaved her head,” he continued. “The idea that there’s any justification whatsoever of him and smacking him in the face like that… No [there cannot be a justification]. How do you have malicious intent in a mild joke? He was emotionally fragile and he acted on impulse in a staggeringly stupid way.”

Joe Rogan was not in favor of the slap and the UFC commentator made sure to condemn Will Smith for his actions. It's also important to note that Rogan and Chris Rock are friends and are also both comedians.

Will Smith has not received any consequences for his actions so far. Many UFC fighters had positive things to say about Chris Rock and the fact that he was able to take the slap and keep going.
