Joel Embiid had three little words waiting for the often-opinionated LaVar Ball after his comments during a recent radio interview on 97.5 The Fanatic, where he took shots at Embiid and Ben Simmonsâ acumen.
Joel Embiid says "f**k LaVar Ball." đ

There's clearly no love lost between these two social media fiends, but Embiid heard the shots coming his way, even in the offseason as Ball fired back at the two teammates clowning on his son during draft night.
âWhen you don't win and don't even make the playoffs, and don't even stay on the court long enough, that's the best thing you can do is tweet, make some stuff,â Ball told hosts Rob Ellis and Geoff Mosher, according to Liberty Ballers. âAin't nobody else doing that, because they're working on their game in the gym. These guys ain't played a game, always hurt, and at the bottom of the totem pole.
âSo guess what, get your asses off the goddamn Tweeter, and get in the gym.â
His rant didn't stop there, digging the dagger a little deeper.
âAdd their games up and see how they turn the program around. LSU wasnât turned around, theyâre great players,â said Ball. âTheyâre good, they made it to the NBA, theyâre good kids that can play, itâs just sometimes, these people get to twist their words and make it seem like theyâre doing something. Donât complain and talk about stuff, go ahead and do something.â
âDonât worry about the outside stuff thatâs going on, these guys gotta get healthy and at least get on the court first. Both of âem played in college and didnât uplift their team. I ainât got nothing against Fultz, that boy can play, but if you really that good, your team gotta go at least .500 if you got a bunch of blind midgets.â
Embiid's retort didn't need the 140 characters âTweeterâ allows, but in true millennial fashion, he only needed three to convey his true feelings.
