JR Smith has been all in on his new college experience. The former 2-Time NBA champion has traded morning shootarounds for academic papers as an officially enrolled student at North Carolina A&T.

The scoring guard has been live tweeting a lot of his experiences, much to the delight of fans who just imagining an NBA player going through the college grind. But JR Smith recently posed a more serious question, particularly on fraternities.

“Can someone explain to me why it would be a good idea to join a frat? To be honest it really don't make sense to me,” admitted JR Smith. “I'm supposed to join a group and call them my brothers after they treat me like shit and make me do stupid shit? How does that work?”

You'd have to imagine that JR Smith would have been a highly prized recruit had he put himself on the market. The Cade Cunningham on campus, if you will. The Greek organizations would have undoubtedly pulled out all the stops to get a world-famous NBA player to pledge.

Smith later on clarified that it's definitely a matter of personal preference.
