Looks like Juventus has garnered the attention of a star MCU actor, but not in a good way. Simu Liu, who will be starring in the upcoming film Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, tweeted the following about the Juventus women's tweet (which has now been deleted).

He followed his tweet by making a reference to the hit TV show, Ted Lasso:

When this tweet was put out by the club, it was immediately met with outrage and backlash from multiple communities online. Liu joined in once he saw the Juventus tweet, and his reaction has reached thousands of people. Here are some of their reactions:

The post showed Juventus women's defender Cecilia Salvai stretching her eyes back while wearing an orange cone on top of her head. The emojis that captioned the racist image are the cherry on top of this disrespectful image put out by the Juventus account.

Multiple clubs in Europe have done numerous things to address racism and racial discrimination that has affected players and fans alike all around the world. Juventus even had an International Day against Racial Discrimination, which was celebrated on March 21st.

This post, however, has set the team under fire for weeks to come.
