After some quick hoopla, it appears as though Kevin Durant will be returning for yet another season with the Golden State Warriors.
We know this, mind you, because he literally said as much at Golden State's NBA championship parade-thingy.
Kevin Durant nudged about his contract again on stage: "Why was that even a discussion? Why we even talking about that? For sure, we going to do this thing again."

Durant, who can be taken for his word for what he felt in that very moment, could also just be caught up in an extremely emotional moment. If he were to sway, change his mind or whatever, holding this thoughts against him would be like being mad at a mom for accidentally ignoring one child while giving life to another at a hospital.
Something like that. Don't worry about the semantics, friends.
Anyway, most reports have suggested that Kevin Durant would return for at least one more season with the Warriors. That, if he were to ever leave the Bay Area, it would more likely be after next season.
A lot goes on during this title celebrations. Players dance, make bold proclamations and don trolling shirts. It's just part of the process in 2018. That being said, just because someone uttered words in front of thousands of people, it doesn't mean it should be taken as gospel.
Then again, the Warriors forward is no blogger boy.
