Head coach Gregg Popovich of the San Antonio Spurs has been widely regarded as one of the NBA's greatest coaches of all time. Despite his loss in Game 1, star small forward Kevin Durant  only had words of approval for the long-tenured coaching prodigy.

Durant said after the game:

“No matter how many moving parts they have on the team, he always stays consistent with what he does. They’ve got great players, but they also have a great coach to put them in positions that utilizes all their strengths as individuals and make it come together as a team.”

The Spurs team definitely showed their strengths against the OKC thunder team, toppling them 124-92 in Game 1. If Durant and OKC want to bounce back from this devastating loss, they must adapt to Popovich's carefully calculated scheme.
