Kim Kardashian is giving fans an update on her law school journey as the reality star continues to story for her Juris Doctorate. On the SKIMS founder's Instagram Story on Tuesday (June 4), she expressed some parts of her studying that she disliked the most.

“I can't deal with all these f—ing hearsay exceptions!” she wrote. “My least favorite subject in law school.”

Kim has been keeping her fans abreast on how she's doing in law school on she and her family's Hulu reality show The Kardashians and previously on E!'s Keeping Up with the Kardashians which aired from 2007 and 2021. The businesswoman has been pursuing her law degree since 2018. On the premiere episode of The Kardashians which aired last month, the mother of four confirmed that she is still studying amid juggling her career and raising her four children — North, Chicago, Saint, Psalm — whom she shares with ex-husband Kanye West.

She got vulnerable with her followers as she revealed that she failed the exam twice which was also documented on her reality series.

“Know this wasn't easy or handed to me,” she wrote in a December 2021 Instagram post. “In California, the way I'm studying law you need to take 2 bar exams. This was just the first one but with the harder pass rate. I was told by top lawyers that this was a close to impossible journey and harder than the traditional law school route, but it was my only option, and it feels so, so, sooooo good to be here and on my way to achieving my goals.”

Kim's late father, Robert Kardashian Sr., a criminal attorney who infamously defended O.J. Simpson in the murder trial of his ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend Ronald Goldman. She shared how she loves how proud he would be of her if he were here today.

“I know my dad would be so proud and he would actually be so shocked to know that this is my path now but he would have been my best study partner. I am told he was notorious for making fun of people who didn’t pass on their first attempt like he did, but he would have been my biggest cheerleader!”

She ended her message by giving fans some encouraging advice: “Bottom line is don’t ever give up even when you are holding on by a thread, you can do it!!!!! Set your mind to it and get it done because it feels soooooo good once you get to the other side!”

In May 2023, Kardashian revealed she got straight As on her latest law school midterms during an appearance on Today.

“I'm still studying. I'm actually in constitutional law 1 and 2 right now. It's my toughest; not the biggest fan of it, I've been sharing my struggle,” she told host Savannah Guthrie at the time. “But with that said, I took a midterm yesterday. I got 100 percent and then I got a 95 percent on my other midterm. So I feel — that gives me that boost of confidence again just to push through.”
