The Sacramento Kings are looking to trade guard Ben McLeMore, and have been looking for suitors since last season's trade deadline.

After adding Arron Afflalo and signing rookie Malachi Richardson, the team has chose the direction they would like to pursue at the shooting guard position going forward.

McLeMore is only 23-years-old with plenty of potential to boot. He stands 6'5″ and can fill any slot that needs a typical 3-and-D player.

The Kings' issue is McLeMore's consistency and lack of growth, which isn't hard to understand considering the team hasn't been very stable with coaching changes and management decisions.

His ability and skill to succeed in the league is there, and he has been showing off his workouts on Instagram, but Sacramento is clearly not the place for him to realize his potential.

He will be a restricted free agent next summer and the Kings are looking to sell now before the issue of money comes along.

In his three years in the league McLemore has averaged 9.7 points and 2.7 rebounds in 27.2 minutes per game for the Kings.
