Sacramento Kings big man Marvin Bagley III will make his return to the lineup for Monday night's game against the Magic after missing eight games due to a sprained left foot:

The fact that Bagley is well enough to return to action is obviously great news for the Kings, who are currently holding a 15-24 overall record. He practiced in full on Sunday and went through Monday morning's shootaround without any issues. However, he'll likely be placed on a minutes restriction at first.

With Bagley coming back into the fold, Harry Giles and Dewayne Dedmon will likely be called on in reserve. Which of the two will be the primary backup is not clear.

Marvin Bagley III has made just nine appearances with the Kings this season due to injury issues (three starts), racking up averages of 13.7 points on 45.9 percent shooting from the field (21.4 percent from beyond the arc), 6.9 rebounds and just under one block (0.9) in 23.6 minutes per outing

In other Kings injury-related news, Harrison Barnes is expected to play in Monday night's game after tweaking his right quad in the closing minutes of Friday's blowout loss to the Bucks.

Monday night's matchup between the Kings and Magic is set to tip inside the Golden 1 Center at 10:00 p.m. ET. Both teams have won three of their last five outings.
