The Sacramento Kings will be shorthanded when they take on the Oklahoma City Thunder Wednesday night. Bogdan Bogdanovic will miss the game with a sore right foot, while Iman Shumpert will sit out with a right hip contusion.

Bogdanovic and Shumpert are two key contributors for the Kings, so other guys on head coach Dave Joerger's squad will need to step up and fill the void. Bogdanovic is averaging 14.7 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 3.7 assists per game. Meanwhile, Shumpert is averaging 9.2 points, 3.1 rebounds, and 1.9 assists per game.

Neither player is a superstar, but the Kings' depth definitely takes a hit without either of them. After missing 11 of the first 12 games of the season, Bogdanovic has played in 18 straight games. Shumpert has played in 24 of 30 games to this point in the season.

Bogdanovic is the team's third-leading scorer, so the team will lean on De'Aaron Fox and Buddy Hield. Fox and Hield are averaging 17.9 and 19.3 points per game, respectively. The backcourt pairing is the driving force behind Sacramento's surprising success this season. They don't seem to be going away anytime soon, which is bad news for the Thunder.

The Kings are 2-0 against Oklahoma City this season. They'll look to take the season series on Wednesday despite being shorthanded. Russell Westbrook and Fox have had two excellent battles already. There appears to be a rivalry between the two after some in-game trash talking earlier this year.
