Veteran forward Corey Brewer recently held a Twitter Q&A session, and one of the fans asked him about his thoughts on his current team, the Sacramento Kings.

Brewer said he sees a bright future with the team and wants to be there when they finally achieve success.

Corey Brewer signed a deal with the Kings in the middle of the season and has provided veteran leadership in a locker room filled with young, promising talent.

The Kings currently possess one of the most intriguing young cores in the league. Behind De'Aaron Fox, Buddy Hield, Bogdan Bogdanovic, Marvin Bagley III and Harry Giles, the team has improved a lot this year compared to last season.

For the majority of the 2018-19 campaign, Sacramento looked like they were bound to make the playoffs. Unfortunately, they weren't able to win enough games despite the major developments to some of their key players.

A lot of people wanted the Kings to reach the postseason mainly because of how they performed against the Golden State Warriors this year. They have lost four regular season games against the defending champions but only by a combined total of 12 points. Sacramento never looked intimidated against the Dubs, and they have shown confidence whenever they faced Golden State.

Sacramento is primed to once again make significant improvements next season, and if Fox, Hield and the rest of the young guys can elevate their game to another level, expect the Kings to snap their playoff drought and make a ton of noise next season.
