Sacramento Kings point guard De'Aaron Fox was feeling himself in Thursday night's matchup with the Atlanta Hawks. Fox put on an absolute clinic.

Just when Fox's historic night couldn't seem to get any more impressive…

To be mentioned in the same company as Oscar Robertson is an incredible honor in itself. Robertson averaged a near double-double for his entire 14-year career with 25.7 points and 9.5 assists per game. The Kings point guard has an increasingly bright future, especially after Thursday night's explosive performance.

Entering the Kings' Thursday night game against Atlanta, Fox was already averaging 17.5 points, 6.9 assists, 3.9 rebounds, and 1.5 steals a game. Fox had three double-doubles last season, but Thursday night was truly special for Fox.

The former Kentucky Wildcat lit the Hawks up Thursday night in Atlanta. Fox also helped the Kings post an incredible point total in the third quarter (46). This was quite a night to remember for the young Kings squad.

The Kings' lowest point total was 31 points in the fourth. They could not be stopped by the Hawks at any point in Thursday's matchup.

The Kings won handily, 146 to 115. This marks five wins in a row for the Kings, and this win improves their record to 6-3. With a roster full of potential, Sacramento may be able to make some noise in the Western Conference this season to the surprise of many.

Fox along with Marvin Bagley, Willie Cauley-Stein, and Nemanja Bjelica find themselves in an excellent position to find success this season. The Kings will look to extend their impressive play against the red-hot Milwaukee Bucks this upcoming Sunday.
