De’Aaron Fox has a message to his haters

De'Aaron Fox

As training camp begins to show itself in the rearview mirror, players are starting to get into the gym and get in shape ahead of joining their teammates before the season begins. In the social media world, players are constantly posting content of themselves in the gym, working on their games before they showcase their talent to the world in the upcoming NBA campaign.

One of those players is the Sacramento Kings’ explosive point guard De’Aaron Fox. The Kings’ youngster had a promising and productive rookie campaign posting averages of 11.6 points and 4.4 assists per contest whilst playing tenacious defense on a nightly basis. Like all rookies, along with his gifts, Fox also displayed areas that where he need improvement, and the twenty-year-old has gone about addressing those this offseason.

Unlike other sophomores or players in general, Fox isn’t the type of personality that feels the necessity to post on social platforms when he’s in the gym or inside the training facility, and he recently took this to his Instagram story to silence his haters and eliminate any doubt that he’s not working out this summer.

It looks as though Fox is just as fiery on his social media as he is on the court when people question his work ethic. In truth, it’s hard to imagine a player like Fox with so much upside not work on his game during his down time, but he certainly put any doubt to bed with his no-nonsense response to all his haters.

Fox will now team up with recently-acquired lottery pick Marvin Bagley III in what promises to be a promising one-two punch. Bagley joins other talented pieces in Willie Cauley-Stein, Ben McLemore, Buddy Hield, Yogi Ferrell, and Justin Jackson that will make up the young core for the Kings moving forward.

After enduring multiple difficult seasons in a row, it’s an exciting time for King’s fans, who know their team will be a force to be reckoned with in the future. The process of watching their young guys develop is in full force, and Fox has made sure everyone knows they’re coming as well.
