Harry Giles III and Tyler Ulis will not be joining their Sacramento Kings teammates on their trip to India, according to several official reports.

Giles was not injured this summer, but he has dealt with knee issues since high school and did not participate in this year's Summer League tournament. The Kings are likely just being cautious with their approach to his ailment.

Ulis, who signed a non-guaranteed contract with the Kings late last week, will not be traveling with the team due to a right groin strain. The former Kentucky Wildcat could have a chance to see his first preseason action on Oct. 10 against the Phoenix Suns:

The Kings are slated to take on the Indiana Pacers twice at the NSCI Dome in Mumbai, India. Their first matchup falls on Friday, Oct. 4 (6:30 a.m. PT), while the second game will take place on Saturday, Oct.5 (6:30 a.m. PT). The event will mark the first games the NBA has played in India and the first games staged in the country by a North American sports league.

Sacramento finished the 2018-19 regular-season campaign with a 39-43 overall record, which left the team just out of playoff contention. Hopefully, with an offseason to prepare and new faces joining the roster, the Kings will find their way back into the postseason hunt to end a lengthy playoff drought.
