Los Angeles Lakers small forward Kyle Kuzma says Sacramento Kings point guard De’Aaron Fox is “the quickest player in the league.”

Kuzma, who was also part of the 2017 NBA Draft like Fox, says the Kings have a guy who “wants it” running their offense.

“I think his overall confidence, I think the way he approached the game and attacked it,” Kuzma said, via Jason Jones of The Athletic. “You could see the first year he kind of fit in a little bit and the second year you could really see this dude wants it. Being that leader, he’s the quickest player in the league, you can see it. His growth from Year 2 to this summer and hopefully in Year 3 you’re going to see it too.”

Unfortunately for Kyle Kuzma and the Lakers, De’Aaron Fox is in the same division as the Purple and Gold, which means the Kings' floor general is likely going to torment the Lakers for years to come.

Last season for the Kings, Fox averaged 17.3 points, 3.8 rebounds and 7.3 assists while shooting 45.8 percent from the floor, 37.1 percent from beyond the arc and 72.7 percent from the free-throw line.

In four games against the Lakers, Fox put up 17.8 points and 6.3 assists.

The Lakers acquired superstar big man Anthony Davis this summer, so they are now a better team than the Kings. LA, though, had to trade Lonzo Ball to the New Orleans Pelicans to acquire Davis, means the Lakers don't have a high-level point guard to defend Fox moving forward.
