Marvin Bagley is a Duke product who once endured runaway draft hype. He gave advice to Duke's most-hype draft prospect of all time: Zion Williamson.

The Duke phenom known as Zion Williamson is a one-of-a-kind basketball specimen. Zion is perhaps the most hyped NBA Draft prospect since LeBron James came out of high school. Throughout the season, teams kept a close eye on Williamson as he put up some ridiculous numbers in the regular season. Unfortunately, Williamson fell short of his title dreams, losing in the Elite Eight. The loss did nothing to his draft status, however; he is still projected to go number one in the draft.

As he prepares to go to the NBA, fellow Blue Devil and current Sacramento King Marvin Bagley had some words of advice for the phenom. Per CL Brown of The Athletic, Bagley shared some sophomore wisdom:

“Do whatever you can to make sure you’re ready whenever you step on the floor for your team, wherever you end up going. You can have fun, but at the same time the business aspect is a whole other ballgame.”

Williamson has been so used to media hype for years that he will probably be more prepared for the big stage than most rookies are.

Still, the NBA is a big leap up from college. There will be ups and downs, even for a player of Williamson's talent.

As long as the prized prospect takes Bagley's advice, he should succeed in the league. By preparing and being ready for every game, Williamson should be able to transition from playing basketball as a hobby to making it his full-time job with ease.
