The Sacramento Kings have announced that forward Marvin Bagley III is expected to miss 1-2 weeks after suffering a left knee sprain against the Milwaukee Bucks on Wednesday night.

Bagley's injury didn't exactly look good when it first happened, as he collided with Malcolm Brogdon and went to the floor holding his knee.

However, it's clear that the injury was not as significant as it looked, and the Kings should have him back on the court after a short absence.

The rookie out of Duke is averaging 13.9 points and 7.2 rebounds per game this season, and there's no doubt that he's played a significant role right away for Sacramento.

Bagley's ability to impact the game on both sides of the court has been a huge asset for the team, and he will continue to play an important role as the Kings try to continue to stay on track in the Western Conference playoff race.

While Sacramento has lost four out of its last five games, it gets three more home games in a row before heading out for a four-game road trip.

Next up for the Kings is a matchup against the Los Angeles Clippers on Friday, and then they'll welcome in the New York Knicks and Boston Celtics next week.
