Sacramento Kings rookie big man Marvin Bagley III says his left knee feels much better and that he doesn't have any pain anymore.

Marvin Bagley III has been out since Dec. 12 with what the Kings are calling as a left knee bone bruise.

The Kings selected Bagley out of Duke with the second overall pick in the 2018 NBA Draft. It is still unknown when the 19-year-old lefty will return to basketball activities and game action.

In 26 games for the Kings this season, Bagley is averaging 12.7 points and 6.1 rebounds per game while shooting 53.6 percent from the field, 34.6 percent from beyond the arc and 68.3 percent from the free-throw line. He is sixth among rookies in points per game and fourth in rebounds.

Sacramento enters Wednesday with a record of 19-18, good for ninth place in the Western Conference standings. Bagley comes off the bench for the Kings and plays around 23 minutes a night.

No one really expected the Kings to be this competitive early on. Sacramento is averaging 115.0 points per game, which is fifth in the NBA. They are still struggling on defense, though, as they are giving up 116.7 points per night — ranked 28th in the league.
