Allexis Holmes, the former wife of Richaun Holmes, accused the Sacramento Kings center of domestic violence towards her and their son. She spoke to the Sacramento Bee about her experience last Thursday. According to the Bee's article, Allexis is suing her ex-husband in custody and domestic violence cases and filing a restraining order against him.

She told the news outlet that the two divorced in 2019. She claims that her son came home from a visit with Holmes with an unexplained bloody injury above his eyebrow in February of 2022. Now, Allexis is doing whatever she can to protect her son and has completely cut basketball and the Kings out of their lives.

“I've completely detached myself from that life so that I can raise my son in peace. I don't go to the games when he begs me to,” the mother said. “There is not a game in this world that I want to go to bad enough to let me and my son be beaten on for,” all quotes courtesy of the Sacramento Bee.

Meanwhile, Holmes completely denies the claims against him. “You have to be goofy as hell to believe that about me,” the Kings center said.

She isn't surprised that Holmes denies her claims, but used his NBA career in a point against him.

“He snaps. He will never admit to anybody that he snaps. But we've seen him snap on the court, cost him $25,000,” Allexis said, referring to his $25,000 fine after throwing the ball into the stands during the Kings' mid-March loss to the Utah Jazz.
