Things got weird on NBA Twitter on Monday after a well-known Los Angeles Lakers writer, podcaster, and personality named Vivian Flores turned out to be a catfish… Or maybe not. It's still not clear whether she actually exists or doesn't. As I said, things got weird on NBA Twitter, per USA Today. Either way, it appears as though the Sacramento Kings are having some fun at the expense of a loss and the Lakers' confusing catfish situation.

After the brutal loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves, the Kings Twitter account sent out a picture of the alleged Vivian Flores photo. However, they Photoshopped the image, inputting the final score of the loss, and calling it “KATfished.”

A rather amusing way to acknowledge a loss to Minnesota. It's a solid play on words that's fitting, as Big-KAT had a fantastic game on Tuesday. With 26 points, 18 rebounds, and five assists, Karl-Anthony Towns led his team to a 134-120 victory.

The Kings have now 23-35, putting them in 12th place after their poor performance against the Timberwolves. They're now six games back from 10th place, which is the spot they need to participate in the play-in game. Things are looking bleak for Sacramento, as they only have 14 games left on their schedule.

The team has been taking losses throughout the entire year, but at least the social media team receives a win for this hilarious post. Hopefully, one day the Sacramento Kings roster can play as well as the people in charge of the organization's social media accounts. If that happens, the Kings would become one of the best teams in the league.
