With the 2018 NBA Draft just hours away, rumors are flying off the board about the order of selections. However, it appears nothing is set in stone outside of the No. 1 overall pick.

The Sacramento Kings had been reportedly looking to take former Duke Power forward Marvin Bagley III with the second pick in the draft. According to TNT's David Aldridge, the Phoenix Suns taking former Arizona center Deandre Ayton is the only guarantee thus far:

Two and a half hours before the Draft begins, nothing from anyone/anywhere around the league indicates anything other than Deandre Ayton going first to Suns, per league sources.

Aldridge's update does not seem to be too far-fetched. There are countless scenarios that can play out given the deep talent in this year's draft. Bagley is among the players whose prospects have fluctuated throughout the process. He was finally given some assurance after reportedly appearing at the forefront of the Kings' radar.

There is no doubt that he is certainly talented enough to be selected as early as two. Bagley finished his lone season at Duke as a consensus first-team All-American and ACC Player of the Year. He is one of the more polished big men in the draft offensively and could put up solid numbers early on for this Kings team.

However, it appears Sacrament will be weighing out all their options. Among the other names that have been in the conversation is Real Madrid point guard Luka Doncic and Michigan State center Jaren Jackson.
