De'Aaron Fox helped the Sacramento Kings earn a much-needed 115-108 win against the New York Knicks.

The sophomore guard had 16 points, two of which came off a windmill dunk which he hammered with authority.

Fox also had four rebounds, three assists and three steals.

The win snapped the Kings' three-game losing streak and gives them a fighting chance of still making the playoffs.

However, whatever the outcome of Sacramento's season is, it will be considered a success by their fans, as they now see how bright the team's future can be with a core of De'Aaron Fox, Buddy Hield and Bogdan Bogdanovic.

Sacramento has been a very competitive team this season, and proof of that is their four games against the Golden State Warriors. They have lost all four, albeit by only a combined total of 12 points.

Of course, their goal is to make it to the postseason, but even if they don't, the team's future is secured as long as their young core keeps on improving.

Fox will play an integral part in the team's success. His development is significant if the Kings are to become championship contenders, and so far, he's been making huge strides.

The Kings are starting to put the entire league on notice.
