NBA Hall of Famer and New York Knicks legend Bernard King believes RJ Barrett will be a good fit for the Knickerbockers.

The Knicks have the No.3 overall pick in the 2019 NBA Draft, and all signs point to them drafting Barrett if he's available. King seems to support the idea of getting the Duke Blue Devils forward, saying that RJ could play well alongside upcoming second-year forward Kevin Knox.

“He’s a tremendous talent with an all-around game,’” King told Marc Berman of The New York Post. “He could put the ball on the floor and has a high basketball IQ. He runs the floor very well and he’s a good scorer. Today basketball is positionless. You can have two guys on the floor like Barrett and Kevin.”

Barrett had a tremendous year with Duke playing alongside the phenomenal Zion Williamson. The 18-year-old Barrett can undoubtedly score, as he posted an average of 22.6 points on 45.4 percent shooting in his lone year with the Blue Devils. He also put up 7.6 rebounds and 4.3 assists per game.

Of course, the Knicks were hoping to land the No. 1 overall pick in the 2019 NBA Draft, which would have netted them Williamson. However, New York should be pretty happy to be selecting third, considering how this year's NBA Lottery went.
