The Derrick Rose era in Chicago officially ended in the summer of 2016 when the Bulls traded him to the New York Knicks.

The Knicks were hopeful that Rose's arrival, along with that of former Bulls teammate Joakim Noah, would turn their dark fortunes around. However, the Knicks stayed their mediocre selves that 2016-17 season. But now, Rose claims he knew they were going to be bad as soon as the season started, even though he called them a superteam soon after his trade to New York:

While the Knicks have some decent talent on their roster, they lost out on the Zion Williamson sweepstakes and saw Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant sign with the Brooklyn Nets. New York has also been mocked for signing so many power forwards this summer.
Maybe we should ask D-Rose about his thoughts on the Knicks this season, though we probably already know the answer.
