Jalen Brunson and Josh Hart have recently been going just as viral off-the-court as they have for their on-court play with the New York Knicks. Now that the Knicks have been ousted from the NBA Playoffs, Friday's episode of their podcast could be a preview of a hilarious few months of content from the two brothers in arms.

Brunson and Hart shared a hilarious exchange during a LeBron James-related discussion, via The Roommates Show.

“LeBron's a guard, bro, c'mon,” Brunson said.

“Bron can be whatever the h*ll he wants to be,” Hart replied.

Brunson replied with a “sucking” sound effect, suggesting that Hart was giving James a little too much love. The second-team All-NBA honoree followed it up with a “godd**n, man!”

Fans are going ballistic online, as the clip has the makings of an all-time great meme.

“This boutta go triple platinum on NBA twitter,” @sixersgeo said on X.

“Like Hart has a point but I’m with Brunson 😂😂,” @KermitWilts_007 said.

“We are not supposed to know these dudes like this,” @sixteentechs said. “They both just lost any aura they had.”

However, other users were completely on Hart's side.

“What’s the problem with that statment (statement)?” @yahyah7777 said. “Hatin a** JB.”

Who's in the right? Is Brunson hating, or was Hart being a little too enthusiastic about his LeBron fandom?

James can play any position, but each of the Knicks' players has a point

James has described himself as a position-less player before. The four-time champion touched on the subject in a conversation with legendary coach Mike Krzyzewski, via TNT's “LeBron and Coach K talk legacy” special (14:27 mark).

“I'm not a point guard, I'm not a shooting guard, I'm not a small forward, a power forward. I'm a basketball player. Whatever the team needs, you can put me on the floor, you can implement me in there and I can make it happen,” James said.

The 39-year-old didn't lie, as he's played many different roles throughout his career. He's functioned as a point guard for much of his tenure with the Los Angeles Lakers, but he often lived in the frontcourt before that as well. Additionally, James can match up or switch onto any player on either end of the floor.

The reason James has this level of versatility is due to his unique combination of size, speed, and strength. His 6-foot-9, 250-pound frame falls in the sweet spot in between being a traditional guard, forward, or center. Therefore, he's able to shapeshift, reminiscent of a basketball chameleon.

However, Hart also exaggerated James' capabilities. The future Hall-of-Famer would have had a hard time being a full-time center, for example. While he can rotate and/or switch on to big men at a moment's notice, it's not easy to consistently match the physicality of 7-foot-tall gladiators, even for another fellow gladiator. His body would've most likely worn down already.

Brunson and Hart's hilarious moment adds another entry into the LeBron discussion lexicon, one that probably won't die on social media for decades to come.
