The Kristaps Porzingis and Jen Selter romance saga continues, as she called the New York Knicks superstar GOAT on her personal Instagram account. As she was watching a Knicks game, Porzingis made a ferocious dunk that brought the Madison Square Garden crowd erupt in delight.
Selter then gave Porzingis the ultimate compliment in an Instagram story by posting “Yesss” followed by a goat emoji.
Being called the GOAT is known in sports circles as an acronym for the “Greatest Of All-Time.” While Porzingis is one of the best young players in the NBA today, it is still quite early in his career for him to be labeled as the G.O.A.T. To his credit, the 7-foot-3 forward/center has the skills (and the height) to be one of the greatest players of all time. At worst, he’ll be one of the best Knicks players ever.
The flirtatious relationship between the two has been going on since last year. The Instagram model recently endorsed the subject of her affections at the All-Star Game, adding the unicorn emoji to her tweet. Porzingis’ nickname is the Unicorn, the nickname which the Golden State Warriors’ Kevin Durant gave him.
Porzingis, for his part, started following Selter on Instagram, and liking her posts. Only time will tell whether the two will eventually start dating.
Recently, Selter told the New York Post that she and the Knicks' unicorn are just friends but her mother, Jill, added “you never know.”
The Knicks star used to date another model by the name of Abigail Ratchford, but the two have since parted ways.
