Many remember Sasha Vujacic as the sharpshooting Slovenian that helped the Los Angeles Lakers win back-to-back titles in 2009 and 2010. His shaggy hair and hounding defense made it difficult for anyone not to notice.

He has since served as a journeyman between the NBA and overseas. According to Sportando.com, Vujacic is keeping that trend going after signing with Fiat Torino in Italy.

Vujacic spent the last two seasons playing for the New York Knicks and the debacle surrounding their team. The veteran was likely brought on by Phil Jackson — who at the time was President of Basketball Operations — as a potential fit into New York’s triangle offense.

Needless to say, Jackson’s tenure with the Knicks ended in disaster and New York is seemingly in full rebuild mode now. As a result, Vujacic has gone back overseas to likely finish out his professional basketball career.

This will be his second trip back to Italy after he signed with Reyer Venezia Mestre back in 2014 following a brief stint with the Los Angeles Clippers. Aside from his two championships with the Lakers, Vujacic's best statistical season came with the then-New Jersey Nets, where he averaged 11.4 points, 3.0 rebounds, and shot 36 percent from the three-point line.
